Mrs. Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh was born on Thursday, June 24th, 1964, in Sekondi, within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan area of the Western Region of Ghana. She was the beloved daughter of Mr. Isaac Kaku Buah of Tikobo Number 2 in Nzema and Madam Sophia Cudjoe of Princess Town in Ahanta, both of whom are now of blessed memory. Affectionately known at home as Nana Adwo (pronounced Éjjo), she was named after one of her paternal grandmothers, carrying forward a cherished family legacy. Young Eunice began her formal education in Tema with her father Mr. I. K. Buah and “Mama Grace”, Mrs. Grace Buah in 1969, quickly standing out as a brilliant and promising student. Even at a young age, she exhibited a drive and determination that foreshadowed the remarkable impact she would have on her generation, preparing herself meticulously for the greater works that lay ahead. As shegrew, Eunice joinedhermaternal family inKetannear Sekondi, where she completed her education at Ketan S.T.M.A. School. Her burgeoning interest in entrepreneurship and the culinary arts fueled her decision to enroll at the Accra Vocational Institute in Accra New Town as a young adult. There, she pursued an engaging two-year program, excelling in her study of Food and Nutrition as well as Hotel Management—fields that would later become the cornerstone of her professional journey.
