Today, the earth mourns the loss of a loving mother, leader, and friend, while Heaven rejoices at the arrival of a beloved daughter. Though our hearts are filled with sadness, and mine is especially distraught at losing a cherished mother, I find comfort in Thomas Campbell’s words: “To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die.” Maa, I stand here today, knowing more than most people, the great vacuum that your departure has left in our lives. For decades, you stood as a strong pillar, exemplifying grace, virtue, compassion, and exceptional leadership. You always knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Now, that calm assurance of your presence has been taken from us. Like the rest, I ask, “What are we to do?” Maa, I find solace in the memories we shared: our countless conversations, lengthy dialogues, and your wise counsel. You not only offered advice through your words but also lived a life worthy of emulation. Stefano Abaidoo S O N g Tribute As a devout steward of the faith, you demonstrated Christ’s love first to our family and then to the world. You impacted our home with your virtue, charisma, and love. Your selfless generosity to the community and society is truly noteworthy. While I’m honored to have been your son, I recognize that many others also found joy in calling you mother, as you were just as much a mother to them as to me. Your love knew no boundaries, and your grace, no limitations. Eternally Cherished 40 Hon. Dcns. Mrs. Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh
