Her philanthropic activities extended to paying school fees, rents, weddings, and funeral expenses for those in need, both known and unknown. She also sponsored numerous individuals including Pastors and wives to attend conferences, foreign trips, and business meetings abroad. She lived her name Eunice, which means one who takes the place of others to bring good victory. D’ness Asomah-Hinneh’s words provided comfort for the despaired, inspired hope for the hopeless and healing for the broken hearted. She indeed brought light to the path of many weak and the marginalized in our society. Hon. D’ness Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh was a shining example of selfless dedication to community development in and around the country. Her numerous contributions have transformed lives and landscapes across various villages and towns. Some of her notable contributions include: • Constructing and supporting multiple Church buildings to foster spiritual growth and community worship; • Building and renovating Palaces to preserve cultural heritage and traditional leadership; • Establishing essential infrastructure such as Town bridges to facilitate connectivity and development; • Providing access to clean water through Boreholes to improve Public health; and • Constructing janitorial facilities to promote sanitation and human dignity. Her tireless efforts have made a lasting impression and earned her a revered place in the hearts of several communities she served and visited. Hon. D’ness Eunice Asomah-Hinneh was a woman of God. She was prayerful, an avid bible student, a deep thinker, a godly counsellor, an astute mother and a good role model. Yes, we will miss Maa “U” because she is no more physically with us. We are, however, comforted that she left a legacy of commitment to God, submission to spiritual authority, positive impact in the lives of several widows and orphans, and a life that emitted the fragrance of goodness and compassion. Like David, she served the Lord’s purpose in her generation, and has taken the lead to be with her Maker. We wish Mama Eunice a peaceful rest in the Lord till we meet again on that glorious day!!
