Hon. Dns. Mrs. Eunice Buah Funeral Brochure

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that od is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die. (Isaiah 57:1-2). It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I write this tribute in memory of my big sister, friend, supporter, Honourable colleague, and traditional ruler, Hon. Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh. Prior to your unexpected and painful passing, I often inquired about your well-being through my wife, who consistently assured me that you were doing well. But on Monday, June 10th, 2024, I returned home from work to find my wife in a state of confusion. I asked what the problem was, and that was when I learned you were not feeling well and had been admitted to the hospital. I remember early in the morning on June 11th, 2024, I joined my wife in praying for you. Afterward, I left for work, asking my wife to find out which hospital you had been admitted to so I could visit you after work. I had barely closed from work and was on my way to Tema to visit you when I received the devastating news of your passing. At first, I couldn’t believe it, but after further checks at your residence, it was confirmed to be true. I was devastated, shattered, and confused, and I began to ask why this had to happen to you, of all people. You have left the entire Dormaaman, Bono Region, and all of Ghana in a state of sorrow and pain. The 2024 Kwafie Festival and my 25th stoolment anniversary are coming up in December, and we do not know who will support us now. You have been a pillar of support for me, my wife, and the entire Dormaa State, for which we are forever grateful. You were simple, unassuming, and offered great support to many people and institutions. We cannot stop mourning you, but we are fortified by the word of God, knowing that we shall meet you again on the day of His ascension. We also take solace in the fact that you strengthened the bond between us and your family, husband, son, and friends. We shall continue to honor that bond long after your burial and funeral. To your husband, son, family, and friends, we say Damirifa Due. To the chiefs and people of the Western Region, whom you represented, we pray for God’s guidance and protection. Fare thee well, my sister, Honourable, Queen, and friend. You shall forever remain in our hearts and minds.
